Our worldwide client based in Milton Keynes is looking
for candidates to fill a position for Assembly/ Production Technicians. The job
is requiring dynamic
team players with proven skills and
knowledge in mechanical assembly, basic hydraulic and electrical
installation.   The role is involving operating
to high quality / workmanship standards, within a demanding flow line
production environment.

This is a
temporary to permanent position.

Salary is
£8.06 – £9.75 per hour basic, plus overtime.

Job Summary -

Generating Monthly and weekly delivery Schedules

Daily JIT ordering

Ensuring Goods received meet TS delivery requirements

Working with HUM

Ensuring Design change is implemented

Monitoring Supplier delivery performance

Dealing Pro-Actively with any forecasting production shortages

Skills needed -

High level of communication skills

Some background and understanding of Logistics and manufacturing

Knowledge of project planning

Good PC skills

MRP experience

Ability to work in a challenging environment

Suitable candidates will be required to deliver items to site, unpackage the items and record what they have delivered. As well as delivering items you will also be required to collect items from site this will require checking the correct items are in place and wrapping them correctly so they are not damaged during transportation. Candidates must be able to keep their paper work and logs up to date. There will be interaction with our client’s customers so a professional appearance and manner is essential at all times.
