We are currently looking for Laboratory Technician to join our client in Newbury, Berkshire.

Key Responsibilities:
Daily support of manufacturing and the customer requirements regarding delivery, quality and efficiency.
Pro-active involvement with Quality and Engineering, assisting with the implementation of functional and dimensional measurements and methods.
Participation in DFMEA’s ensuring testing capability for product design is suitable and available.
Assist with the development, optimisation and maintenance of test plans, DVP’s and reports.
Measurement of components and recording results on Job Inspection Records.
Goods in/goods out measurement and functional testing.
The measurement of components and assemblies, recording results on ISIR forms for internally manufactured prototype and PPAP samples.
Assist with employee’s enquiries on all aspects of Quality, measurement and testing.
Conduct MSA studies.
Support non-conformance investigations and corrective action implementation.
Final product audits in line with the plan provided by the Quality Manager.

Key Skills & Experience:
Computer literate.
Mitutoyo CMM programming operation and SPC software data transfer.
Able to read and understand manufacturing drawings.
Good communication skills.
Strict attention to detail.
Enthusiasm, loyalty and a team player.
Working hours- Rotating shift pattern
Week 1: 2pm-10pm £10.93-£12.13/hour
Week 2: 10pm-6am £11.88 -£13.08/hour

You must be available to work occasional Saturdays & Sundays.
