Overview
We are currently looking for an experienced Press Brake Operative to join our well established client in Thatcham.
Duties:
- Using Brake Presses to produce customers’ orders on time and to the correct quality standard.
- Setting up machines, reading drawings, programming machine, tooling changes etc.
- Marking up of pressed parts and packing.
- Robot Programming.
- Manoeuvring of materials on and off the press machines, either manually or with appropriate equipment.
Experience:
- Operating and setting Press Brake machines is essential.
- Ability to read, understand and follow 1st and 3rd angle projection drawings.
- Knowledge of working with different grades of metal.
- A flexible approach to be able to adapt to changing and challenging requirements.
- Quality focused with good attention to detail.
- Good communications skills.
8am – 5pm / Monday – Friday – overtime available on Saturdays.
£11.50 – £14 per hour depending on experience.
