Overview
We are currently looking for a Press Setter to join our well established client in Swindon.
The successful candidates will be personally motivated to maintain a professional service to both internal and external customers and ensure that high standards are met at all times.
Duties:
- Set and run Presses in line with demand.
- Ensure first offs are carried out diligently.
- Work to production targets.
- Working close with Team Leaders and Supervisors.
- Keep work stations clean and tidy and ensuring all scrap is removed to correct recycling bins.
- Ensure information required for tool maintenance and repairs are updated accurately.
- Support the Press Shop with the move to the company goal of lean manufacturing.
Skills:
- Capable of setting and running a wide range of Roll Feed Presses and secondary Presses.
- Experience of operating a punch press/turret press or press brake.
- Clear understanding of engineering drawings.
- Engineering and manufacturing background.
- Ability to use various measuring equipment.
Monday – Friday
7am – 4pm
30k – 35k – Depending on experience
