Overview

We are currently looking for a Senior Embroidery Machine Operative to join our well-established client in Swindon on a permanent basis.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES: 

· To prepare components for the embroidery process.
· To operate, monitor and adjust embroidery machinery as required.
· Assist Leaders with the coordination of embroidery activities.
· Perform embroidery operations and procedures in compliance with approved standard operating procedures (SOP) and work instructions.
· Operate automatic and semi-automatic high volume embroidery equipment
· Train, mentor and supervise new starters and/or temporary staff as required.
· Carry out maintenance on embroidery equipment
· Perform routine SAP transactions.
· Any ad hoc duties assigned, including working in different departments of the business
SKILLS: 
· Previous experience in a similar role and environment – Essential
· Hand/eye coordination.
· Willingness to learn and absorb information and knowledge relating to the products.
· The ability to work independently and also as part of a wider team.
· Must be physically fit to undertake various manual handling tasks
WORKING HOURS:
07:30-16:00 – Monday-Friday
SALARY:
From £26,000 to £30,000 per annum
